It really isn’t any question of how we come up with our designs. For starters, they’re not our own. They’re God’s ideas. We’re needy for Christ and as He calls us to this work of adorning His Beloved with Identity, Hope, Love, and Life, we must know what He promises. He IS our inspiration and we pray that God gives us eyes to see and ears to hear (Matthew 13:9, Isaiah 6:10) so that we might be filled with His instruction, only to then pour out and graciously give as we have been given (1 Chronicles 29).
