Auburn Hoops was created to give your art the frame it deserves! Our patented design not only allows you to display your art in style but also modernizes the old fashioned embroidery hoop. The internally locking hoop creates a greater tension for smoother stitching and makes setting up your hoop a breeze. Our desire is to create a more enjoyable stitching experience by providing you with both quality and style.
THE OWNERS
My husband, Brandon Nelson, and I are the team behind Auburn Hoops. As we awaited the birth of our first child, I picked up a new hobby, embroidery. Over the next several months I started my first small business selling my embroidery art. After spending hours stitching a piece, I would leave it framed in the cheap old fashioned hoop and began to get frustrated there was no way to display my art in the way it deserved. That is when my amazingly supportive and handy husband stepped in and decided to create a frame for my work with some spare wood and a makeshift tool. That became the first prototype of an Auburn Hoop. Not only did it frame my work but it became a more functional hoop to stitch in. I had to share this with other embroidery artists! After a year of development and just shortly after the birth of our second little one, a baby boy, we finally introduced our embroidery frame to the world!
